Terms and Conditions

Overview

This website is operated by Heirloom Paris. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Heirloom Paris. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all users, including browsers, vendors, and customers.

Section 1 – Curation Service & Product Availability

We specialize in sourcing and curating unique antique tableware, historic porcelain, fine culinary objects, and glassware.

  • Inventory Status: Some products are No Physical Stock. We do not hold physical inventory for all items displayed. Our service consists of curating, inspecting, and securing these exceptional pieces from private collections and professional antique networks.
  • Request to Purchase: Your order constitutes a “Request to Purchase.” Every order is subject to a 48 to 72-hour availability, state of preservation, and authenticity check by our team.
  • Order Cancellation: If an antique piece has been sold by the original source or no longer meets our strict quality and stability standards prior to our pickup, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a 100% immediate refund. No further compensation or interest shall be due.

Section 2 – Vintage Condition & Accuracy

  • “As-Is” Sales: All items are vintage or antique. By nature, they possess a historical patina, glaze imperfections, firing marks, or signs of usage relative to their eras. They are sold strictly “as-is.”
  • Descriptions: We strive for maximum accuracy in descriptions and high-resolution photographs. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions are entirely error-free. Contrasts and colors may vary depending on your monitor settings.
  • Authenticity: We provide our professional expert opinion on the manufacture, period, and stamps of each item based on our research and the documentation provided by the source.

Section 3 – Pricing & Payment

  • Price Fluctuations: Due to market demands for rare antiquities, prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time.
  • Import Duties: For international orders outside the European Union, the buyer is solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and administrative clearance fees applied by the destination country.

Section 4 – Shipping, Handling & Risk

  • Third-Party Carriers: We act as an intermediary to organize secure packing and specialized fragile transport.
  • Transfer of Risk: Once the package is handed over to the premium carrier, the risk of loss or breakage passes to the buyer. All shipments are fully insured.
  • Delivery Estimates: Shipping times are estimates and may vary based on the fragility of the items and the customized protection required.

Section 5 – Right of Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.

Section 6 – Limitation of Liability

Heirloom Paris shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including lost profits or replacement costs, arising from your use of the service or any products procured through our curation.

Section 7 – Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Paris, France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
